Excited to share a fun family photo session on Sanibel Island from this past November. Kimberly and her family were visiting for Thanksgiving and we captured some beautiful images at the beach during their stay. Here's a sneak peek!

One of the best things about doing portrait photography is truely the people you get to capture. The laughter, the smiles, the love and relationships within a family. Bona, our dear friend, was down visiting for Thanksgiving and arranged a photo shoot for her and her sister, Sujin, and their mom, Rosa. Bona's mom had been wanting photos for quite some time so they were really excited to have us behind the camera. We fit the photos into their busy schedule before Rosa rushed off to her restaurant, Origami, and Sujin to NAMI.
We got what we were looking for with every session: emotion, laughter, fun, FASHION, and most of a snapshot in time of who these ladies have become and just how special they are to each other. I think we nailed it!
I featured a sneak peek to this session a few weeks back after I entered one of the photos in a Rock the Shot Family portrait contest. Turns out we won second place! Pretty cool!!! Here are highlights from the entire LeSage family Sanibel bike session- enjoy!
It's beginning to look alot like Christmas... Here's a few of our fav pics from a recent session with Riley (almost one 1!), Cole, and Ella at South Seas Resort on Captiva, FL. We grabbed a few fun shots in the Scoops and Slices candy store at the resort then headed to the beach for a beautiful sunset!

The Romine family came to us as a referral from another client, Tessa LeSage (thank you!!!). They were looking for a local photographer to work with, as they have been traveling to the other coast for the past few years to get their family photos taken. Could I be the lucky local photographer to fulfill their "artsy fartsy" style? It turns out I was and Jonathan, Megan, and Ava were so easy to work with and had a fun color scheme amongst the beauty of Koreshan State Park. Sharing highlights from their session this week!

Congratulations to Bethany and David on their upcoming wedding in November! We were introduced through a common friend (Sarah Martin) and were thrilled to photograph them in Downtown Fort Myers during the 4th of July weekend. Matt and I spend a lot of time in the Fort Myers River District as a family with our daughter Lillian. We appreciate and revel in the architecture, art, culture, and commerce as a unique urban backdrop for sessions. Bethany knew she wanted to start at the yacht basin and work our way to the gorgeous banyan tree near the court house and we stopped at various DTFM favorites along the way including the Whitehurst Federal Building (Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center).

Lisa or "Blooming Mommy" and I met while attending college years ago and ended up taking our child birth class together back in 2010 before her Bella and my Lil were born. Now three years later, Lisa and her husband Junior have a family of four with little brother Isaiah added to the mix! Over the last several years we've kept in touch and I was so excited when she asked me to take her family photos. We had to reschedule a few times because of the rain and our busy lives but we finally picked an early Sunday morning to meet up at Lakes Park before Junior headed to a Bucs game (a fav family past time). I enjoyed the sound of football while I was editing this weekend and indulged in my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season. Fall is upon us and you know what that means... Lots of returning faces and new friends to photograph! We have four newborns, eight+ families, four 1 year birthdays, three mama’s expecting, and two weddings on the calendar for this Fall! It’s going to be busy and we love it! I don’t think we can squeeze any more in- wow!
We will be offering 30 min. sessions on October 6th and October 20th for those that would like portraits in time for the holidays. This is a shorter version of our regular sessions. I had such a great time photographing the lovely Lundbohm family. Last time I worked with Sabrina, we were capturing Ellie's one year photos. At our session on Sunday, Weston had just celebrated his fourth birthday. Our little ones are growing up so fast! Sabrina has already started talking about another date this Fall to freeze time!
Meet Taran, a Class of 2014 senior attending Fort Myers High School. Matt and I toured downtown Fort Myers with her and were reminded of our "Greenie" roots! Taran had so many playful outfits for our locations ideas. We had such a fun evening photographing Taran and she even offered up her babysitting services for Lil at the end of our session! Like alot of familes we photograph on Sanibel, Libby and her family have been vacationing on the beautiful island for years. She contacted us to capture a few memories on their trip this year and we went back and forth on clothing choices and sunset locations. They stayed at one of our favorite locations to shoot on Sanibel, Casa Ybel and we headed to Captiva for the sunset. Greyson, their 2 year old son, was so expressive and fun. I have to start by thanking April, Nick's mom, for being the BEST baby wrangler I have ever worked with. We had prior history working together when I photographed Nick's sister, Lindsey and her twins. I showed up at the beach at 7 A.M. and was greeted by April with toys in tow ready to make Harper smile and giggle. Harper was as CUTE as can be but proved to be a little bit of a challenge for the experienced baby wrangler (April) and myself. As the sun rose, her smile finally surfaced and we were able to capture this adorable family in true fashion (#chevron). I was excited to work with Shea for a couple reasons... We have been Instagram friends for the past year and I have been in love with Harper's cheeks almost as much as my own's daughters! I also knew she had impecable style, hence the chevron skirt and Harper's adorable hair bows. Here is a peek of a few of my favorite images from the session...
Congratulations to Sara & Ben who will be expecting Baby Charlotte in October! Sara is a long time friend from high school and we recently reconnected after she moved into our neighborhood. Their house provided the perfect backdrop to capture family sunset photos before their family of 3 becomes 4. Oliver is going to be a great big brother!
